If you want to hear me complain about the English it would be about their feckin' cars!

Well... okay I love it but I am pissed at their ability to engineer a decent AC system. Yes, yes I know you don't need Air Con in Norfolk.
Right, so that famous Canadian car firm ..... ummmm, let me think, .... errrr, there must be one .... Ummmmm, well, whatever that really famous Canadian car firm is, I am sure it must be SO much better than any English car maker ...

And you are right John, we only need to use the aircon about 4 days a year in England, so they only bother to design one that will work once in a while ... based on the assumption that there is a reasonable chance that on the day that you do need it, either you will not be driving, or that by some miracle it works, or that you decide to put the roof down, open the windows and make do without the aircon ...

I'm pretty sure your thinking of Bricklin.

I think as of Thursday they'll have it fixed. Here is what pisses me... I've *owned* the car 70 days... they've had it for 32.

I'm just venting. Had it out for a drive today... top on windows up 101F outside and bearable inside. Still has a leak but they'll get it I'm sure.

It's not as though I haven't any experience with temperamental English females who spend most of their time in the shop(s).

That is always the trouble with the specialist cars like yours. Because they are low volume there are always problems with them. TVR had a terrible reputation (getting better - but still pretty poor).

HOWEVER, I do have to point out that a friend who owns a Lamborghini and has also owned 3 or 4 Ferraris, said that all of them spent a LOT more time in the shop than any Porsche or BMW other car that he has owned!

I have to say that Proton make bloody awful cars, but the aircons in them are excellent!!!!
