We had Honey Baked ham with champagne mustard and Mrs. Raptor made pasta salad.

My Dad bought a quarter ham, and had no idea what he was in for. He was livid (although the ham was tasty).

Our family friends brought a spinach salad, and Joy baked an outstanding chocolate almond cake.
I don't understand. What was he livid about?

He got a (hind) quarter ham, which resulted in thicker, chunkier slices, versus his want for thin slices. Tasted fine, but he was annoyed.
