From: Come see me after class.
Well, I know you guys missed me
but I've been busy with summer school
and other rather important matters: I had to replace the water pump on one of the 300ZXs, replace the steering rack on the minivan, and my Spoon cams and wheels have come in so I've been tearing down the top end of my S2000. [wipes sweat off forehead]
But to top it off, my dad came home Sunday (he bought me a 10-inch butterfly knife
) and we went to Ferrari of Houston straight away. [giggles like a schoolgirl] My dad couldn't wait any longer so he retracted the $20k deposit on the Challenge Stradale, and we drove home in a black '03 575M Maranello with the Fiorano (sports) handling package. With only 90mi on the odo, we weren't able to do any spirited driving (I was in the E55). BUT even under 5000rpm, the Maranello can double the national speed limit.

Anyway, we got in some driving yesterday and today despite the shitty weather (Hurricane Claudette). It looks to be staying away from our side of town so hopefully we'll get in more driving this week.
Anyway #2, I hope you (JustaYoungMC) are doing fine down in Galveston. Go loot some stores for me!
BTW, we got a proper transmission in the Ferrari - none of that fancy-pants 'F1' semi-auto bullshit.
Only three-pedal six-speed for me.
