A safe browser? Define that? it uses 128 bit encryption like the rest of the unsafe browsers on the market

Safe is, like, when the power switch is turned OFF.

I was playing with some Macs at the Mac store (a 15" PowerBook, and one of those dual 2GHz G5 thingees), and graphics seemed pretty slow.

Specifically, when I open a PDF document in Acrobat, and try to resize the window, the resizing is pretty jerky. This doesn't happen with browser windows etc. And for some reason, Mac Office X software doesn't display window content while resizing.

Any idea why this is?

Sounds weird....could have been an old version of acrobat....6 is now available and most people sy it is significantly faster. I have not found this on my machine. I just opened/resized a complex PDF with no hiccup

Not sure I follow what you mean about the Office X displaying window content??
