When my dad was on the LAPD, working Vice, there was some guy assaulting hookers. Beating them up pretty good. A couple died. He was on a detail of guys that dressed up as women and posed as stretwalkers to catch him, which they did. Shaved legs, the whole nine yards. He had some pretty funny stories to tell -- fending off Johns, etc.
