Devon and mom are both doing quite well. For a two day old, he has a head full of hair. now if he will only learn to feed...youd think sucking was an innate function. No return policy on babies so...guess we'll have to do what we can.

 

Yeah I lurk a lil when homesick

My first born came into the world 2 weeks early and was not a huge he had a tuff time at first but then he caught up real quick
He's all grown up now oh the memories of where yur at right now try n get some sleep when ya can and again CONGRATS!

 

ok, so now Devon is one week old! here are some numbers

24.5 hours from water break to birth
17.5 hours in hospital before Devon appeared
12 hours of regular contractions
1 hour of active labor
8lbs 1 oz at birth
7lbs 4 oz at first check up on Monday
3 1/2 hours is longest gap between feedings
2 1/2 hours is longest mom has had continuous sleep
5 1/2 hours is longest dad has had continuous sleep
2 hours is period Devon sleep swell if sleeping ON dad
16 is number of diapers Devon has gone thru so far since getting home
250 is number of photos Dad has taken of Devon since birth
45 is number of visitors Devon has had
2 is the number of proud parents that keep diapering and feeding him.
