Hit something humoungous on freeway.
4:45 this morning on the 210 transition road (dark, curving tunnel) in Pasadena going to the gym. I drove the runflat tire like this for 20+ miles. I also have a very sore back from the jolt. America's Tire ordered the Michelin Super Sport tire. They'll have it in tomorrow or Monday. I'll have the Vette flatbed towed to the tire shop. I just hope it didn't do anything to my front end.

I have road hazard protection on the tire and extended Auto Club towing, so at least that won't cost me anything. What a pain in the ass!

Actually, the jolt hurt my lower back. It took until today for the pain to go away. America's Tire still doesn't have my tire (it's coming from Las Vegas), so I'm driving Anne Marie's Acura RDX.

Thanks. I have my new tire. Actually, four new tires. I needed new tires anyway. The destroyed one was replaced for free (road hazard protection), so I saved $500. The AAA flatbed tow truck ride was also free. And, Mom, we just walked across the street to have lunch at Cameron's while America's Tire replaced the tires.
