yup, they subscribe to the theory of bullshit baffles brains. If they sling enough b.s. at everyone they meet, people will just believe them rather than trying to prove them wrong.

They only need to baffle you long enough to get to wherever they're going, OR, there's the Peter Principle (from Office Space).

Now, the rest of this is a bit unfair here, as Anderson's Law of Stupidity is mine. After about 2-3 years of teaching, I'd had enough of the adults (kids are kids, can't blame them for anything). So, during a particularly exhausting meeting, it dawned on me: Stupidity, by its virtue, knows no boundaries. This lead to it's first postulate: Therefore, the dumbest question anyone can ask is, "How stupid is this gonna get?" as the answer is infinite/limitless.
