The Hoping Sophia is Doing OK Thread
One of the first places I lived in Seattle was at the north end of Lake Washington. In the winter the Seattle area can have some hefty wind storms (gusts to around 55-60mph) and our power used to go out at least once a month in the winter and could be out for a couple days sometimes (worse in some areas). As far as I'm concerned, no big deal. Put a fire in the fireplace, eat energy bars and drink beer and read a book by candlelight or flashlight.
Power outages are actually pretty peaceful and romantic times if you don't freak out.

Sophia called me this morning. Power is back on and they said they had a great time with the power being out. I laughed when she said they "roughed it". She has the day off and is heading to the beach with her friend for the day.
Guys!!!We JUST got our power back...and I am seriously so happy, flattered and just think u guys are the best for this thread! It actually wasnt as bad as it couldve been....I went home with my boss, my mom was stuck at work an hour away.....my sister was at her summer camp....but Nicole picked up my sister and came to get me before it got dark......we lit candles, made chicken caesar salads and played board games all night
