I've tried rebooting a bunch of times sometimes it even freezes while windows is loading..........

ok.....have you cleared your temp file and cache and trash can? Also, how long has it been since you defragged?

defragmented like 2 days ago, scan disk yesterday, virus check yesterday. cleared temps last night and theres nothing in my trash can

Had a book on my dest once that pushed my monitor button and I hadn't realized it---pissed me off!

won't let me change the resolution I change it and it restars and loads it the same way
