You know, I really wish I could take all those song lyrics that are somehow burned into my brain and just jettison them out so I could remember important stuff!!!

Song / music memory is a very weird thing. I have no idea how I can call up these lyrics and melodies from when I was a kid. Ever wonder about that? It's clear that associative memory is not like "fact" memory. Kind of like how smells can put you into a situation long ago...

The mind is a very mysterious thing.
