I pay $200 a month. I got like 3 speeding tickets in the last 2 years...maybe thats why...and i'm not 25 yet. i have progressive insurance. can i get it cheaper?

 

I'm payin about $500 every 6 mos for full coverage and a $500.00 deductible. I'm with state Farm on a multi-car policy.

- 01 S2000 = $527.00/6 mos
- 87 Bronco = $260.00/6 mos
- 82 Yamaha Maxim 750 = $160.00/yr
- 03 Kawasaki Jet-Ski = $330/yr

I'm paying 800 every six months and that's full coverage for my '03 S2K and '99 VW Passat. I'm 28 btw.

 

you have to keep in mind where you live. rates in MD and RI are going to be significantly less than LA

I'd say you're getting a pretty good deal.

When I was with Progressive, I was 24, 0 tickets on record, a 2nd car on the policy, and my total was about $150/month. Mind you I live in indiana which has much lower insurance costs in general. When Progressive "found" my 2 speeding tickets, they jacked my premium to $215/month, and I promptly told them to go themselves.

im 23... im paying about $120 a month now... used to be $89 a month... but it went up this year.. not sure why...
