Today while I was sanding a pine board some sap came oozing out in liquid form. Never had that happen before it is usually pretty congealed.

 

Today I had a potential new client call me. She said that she heard nothing but good things about me, she went out and spoke to a bunch of people that know me and they only had great things to say about me. I never had someone go and search out people who know me, we aren't talking on-line reviews, these are real people word of mouth discussions. I usually deal with crabby crazy people all day long, so good to know there are some normal ones out there. lol. I never had that happen.

I've never had my parents phones actually configured in a way I could help them. . . until yesterday.

 

I work with unhoused folks and our agency constantly takes a public beating. About 10 years ago I started keeping a good news journal. No identifying info obviously, just a general description of the situation. When I’m having a tough work day I randomly open it to remind myself that good things DO happen.
