I wish I had saved documentation of all the debris I've picked up since moving to Seattle... I had one tire with 3 patches in it.

This one can't be patched. Got one coming. Found a new take off and saved about $100 but I have to wait for it.

Took a trip to to the Key West with our trailer. Lost all three tires including the spare with zero miles. After some research I found that they were basically only good for 3 years, period.

Don't buy Goodyear Marathon Trailer Tires!

Can't tell you how many times I've seen people pulled off on the side with tire issues when I used to live in Key West.

Nor can I count how many times I myself have had that picture in post #1. I really think I have some of the worst luck with finding everything laying in the road

3 years? even if not used? I think some of us keep the same tires for longer than that b/c we don't use our weekend cars that much. Now I'm scared...

[going down to garage to inspect tires]

I'm talking the Marathon trailer tiers specifically. It seems to be a fairly known issue, especially among camping trailer users. Even with careful speed and pressure monitoring they are prone to blowouts.

The spare that blew had never been on the ground and was stored covered. It survived less than 1000 miles.

I moved to the Kumho Radial 857 and expect no more problems.

No more Marathons for me.
