You think I'd look good behind the wheel of the Missouri? I'd love to fire off those 16-inch guns. They fire shells that weigh as much as VW Beetles for 25 miles. Now that would be cool. Also, cruise missiles.

A buddy of mine, Mrs. Raptor's niece's husband, is a Command Master Chief in the Navy in San Diego. During the 03 Iraq war, he was stationed aboard the Mobile Bay, a Ticonderoga class Aegis missile cruiser, deployed with the Abraham Lincoln Battle Group. The BBC did a special on their ship during the war. Footage of night cruise missile launches is just about the coolest thing I've ever seen. They ran out of cruise missiles, so they changed out their ship for another Ticonderoga class cruiser, which is easier than restocking cruise missiles.
