I Hate The Dmv!!!!!
I went to the DMV today to pick up my custom plates (WCKD S2K). The lady pulls them out and shows them to me. I'm all excited ... ... then she says, "wait, give those back to me."

Turns out, the ing DMV thinks they are missing a bill of sale from my original registration paperwork. Apparently, the stupid baitch who processed my registration sent the entire package of paperwork back to me - including the original Certificate of Origin for the car - REGULAR MAIL (no registered or certified) on February 26, with a request for the bill of sale. I, of course, did not receive anything in the mail from the DMV, or I would've taken care of it.

So I ask the lady what I"m supposed to do now - obviously it's their word against mine. She says, "Check with the lender, maybe we sent it to them. If they don't have it, you'll have to contact Honda to get a new Certificate of Origin. Until then, we can't issue these plates."

So basically the DMV has lost my ing paperwork and now I have to go through a bunch of hoops to try and figure it out. STUPID DAMN DMV WORKERS.

Not to mention the hour wait that I will have to go through again once I get this all figured out.

 

Bastards!!!! We should setup a protest in the DMV until you get your plates!

Which reminds me, I need to renew my auto registration soon.

 

We need a custom one that says "**** the dmv"

 

 

Bloody DMV. I had problems with them once as well, two years ago. Though it wasn't their fault.
