I just gotta say that the 308 GTB is my absolute, positively favorite car. GTB is the hardtop. It's a long story but when the time came for me to buy my dream car I ended up with a prugna 86 mondial coupe which was referred to as the prugna princess. Still hope to get a 308 some day but who knows.

Damn, so nice Rob. I love the look of the 308, and they were pretty cheap a few years back but have really increased in price now.

I just have to say Ferrari's were my dream car back when I was a kid. Had a poster of a Testarossa on my wall for years.

I just can't put up with the inferior build quality of the new Ferrari's. I wanted a California before buying the 911 last year, the negative threads on the Ferrari forum and talking to a couple dealers have put me off. I'll still admire the Ferrari's but I don't see me buying one anymore.

I just gotta say I absolutely love Ferrari's they are my favorite marque but have to admit build quality is definitely not job 1.

I think the entire car is considered a wearable part that will need servicing or replacement at some point in time, they aren't made for the long term it seems, or they think their customers have enough money to pay the upkeep.

I just gotta say that Italians build their cars with passion, engineering isn't always the top priority how it looks and performs may come before other thoughts, although the 3x8 series drivetrain is pretty robust. A lot of them have done 150k + without a rebuild just general maintenance.
