I just gotta say mine is original and over four years old.

 

I just got a scholarship to attend the veterinary social work conference!

 

I just called my banker and told him to pull a big portion of my money out of mutual funds and stock market related funds, we moved into safe money market investments. Something just tells me the world is going to shit. I did the same thing in 2008 when I saw the crazy housing market was upside down. If I'm right I may save myself some grief, if I am wrong I make 2% on my money. Everything I see on a daily basis tells me everything our governments have done in past months will blow up. The crazies like Putin , Xi, and Un, certainly won't help. A big world war could be coming, anybody else feeling this ?

 

I just gotta say I been feeling that way for awhile but I did however put more into the market. Of course it has tanked since I did this.

 

You know I really know nothing about the market, and I can't point to anything to support my decision. I just get these bad vibes when I see people acting in ways that don't make sense. I believe that our governments are using the wrong approaches to try and combat inflation, and that will just force us into a recession without curbing inflation. The war drums are beating loud too.

 

I just gotta say a lot of 'predictions' made awhile back have unfortunately come true in the last decade or so and the big one that hasn't yet is a nuclear war sooooo.....
But a lot of this is out of our control so we just keep chugging along.
As far as the markets I have always done my own investing but things have gotten so f'd up in the last year or so I just hired a financial guy for the first time.

^ In 2008 I am came back from summer vacation in Florida and I told my bank guy to move my money out of the market. He asked me why I was doing that and I told him there were people living in million dollar homes in the US who were earning minimum wage, the same people had 3-4 high end vehicles parked in the driveways, so something just didn't add up. A few months later the mortgage crisis blew up and that's when we found out lenders were giving money out to pretty much anyone who asked for it.

 

I just gotta say the best advice to be given regarding investing is diversification, don't put all your eggs in one basket and even if you aren't making much or even nothing on it always hold on to some cash.
