Nice!! The dining room manager at the place were I work at, at night is a paison and she made some pasta fagioli and gave me a bowl. She used ditalini and put a lot of parmesan on it. It was gooood.

You guys are making me hungry, nothing better than a good Italian peasant soup.

One place that had good Italian soup when we visited the U.S was Carrabbas , I liked it much better than Olive Garden.

Stopped at an arabic bakery, picked up some fresh pitas, I can eat them like crazy when freshly baked. They also had some small meat pies, also good.

Cool idea. The bakery there actually makes some kind of pita pizzas now that you mention it, but I've never had one. Easy enough to make.
