No, RE750's - I wanted something I can drive in the rain, fast, without having to resort to the Hoosier wets. I'd have got the S03's, but they weren't available in my size

It got a little wet at the dragon last year, and my RT615's worked GREAT.

On the street, I've had S02's, RT615's, S03's, Avon 550's, and now the RE750's. So far, I'd say the S03's were the best overall, but the Avon's were best in the bad weather. I wanted the Goodyears (d3) but they're on backorder

The GSD3 owns all in the rain. But yeah, they'll be backordered for some time. Stupid unions!

Interesting.

How did you find the grip of the S03 compared to the S02 or the RT615? I drive (as much as possible) only when it's sunny and relatively warm out. So summer performance gets a higher weighting from me. I have only run the S02 and the RT615s (and only a few thousand miles on the 615s so far.)

Pete - I'd say the S02 and the rt615 are comparable. The S03 is probably 15~20% down on dry grip. In my case, I'll accept that to have peace of mind in the wet. If it's ultimate grip that matters, out come the race tires

Thanks, Martin.

I just bought some bottle pumps that will HOPEFULLY allow me to change my diff fluid and transmission fluid more easily.

I also just bought some more suction cups for my radar detector mount.

All I need now is some coolant, and my list of pre-Dragon service/upgrade parts is complete.

Then I just have to find some idiot to install it all.

Oh crap, I think that idiot is me.

My intake got here today, freshly powder coated!

Now I can bust the car out of storage, and get to work for the Dragon!

What diff & trans fluid are you using? For the diff, I prefer redline; for the trans it's GM Syncromesh, changed regularly
