The 36 GB drive is my 'system' drive - windows, programs, etc. I'm going to add a RAID5 array in a couple weeks (trying to spread the pain out a bit), probably in the realm of 600-750 GB logical map (4x200 or 4x250 GB drives). That should last me a few years. In the interim, I have piles of IDE hard drives with stuff on them (mp3s, movies, pictures, etc), probably 4 total but I'll only have 2 in the case. My current system right now is a 14.4 gig system drive (that's never been more than half full) and an 80 gig storage drive; I have another 60 gig storage drive in the older box and an almost-dead 80 gig drive with misc stuff.

 

i just bought another month of cell phone service, gym membership and credit card use, i.e. paid my bills

 

Ahh ok ok I knew that couldn't be what I was thinking

2gigs of ram?

 

1 gig for now. It's pretty rare that I do anything that taxes the memory that much. Whenever the next windoze comes out, that may change

 

I just bought Lost season 1 on DVD, wand watched the first 6 episodes last night (4 of which I had never seen before )
