I didn't like it the first time either (probably because I wanted a hamburger). Now it's my favorite fast food joint if I want decent food. I absolutely love their market fresh BLT. The bread is excellent, and the rest is BLT - Lots of good bacon on them. The roast beef sandwiches are good, and the arby's sauce really seals it. Their fries (regular or curly) are inferior to Burger King but better than anyone else.
