Why is it just my camera?

This is the camera Mike.
I want to get the GF one of those. I was actually looking at the SD850 or SD870. The D80 is great but somtimes it can be a pain to carry it and all the accesories. It would be nice to have a little one just to throw in the backpack or her purse or something.

it can be a pain. Especially for times when you're going out on the town and want pictures, but it's not really appropriate to be lugging the D80 to a restaurant or bar.

Funny how that works huh...

That's EXACTLY why we have two cameras..

I haven't taken any pictures with the SD850is yet, but I'll report back.. (well, wife will probably)..

Looks good.. small enough (my casio exilm was smaller, but the photo quality wasn't that great imho)....and looks like it has some decent hardware underneath. IS was a major reason why I chose this one.

So you bought the right to pay taxes and have a meaningless vote. Woot!

I have its predecessor (SD700is). Works great. Just wish it had manual control some times.
