I wanted a durable and attractive pair of shoes that would be diverse enough to dress up or down. These fit the bill...and will likely last me many times longer than the last pair I had.
I like Cole-Haan's, but they just didn't have anything that resonated with me when I was shopping...

As a supplement to my laptop, so I don't have to cart it around all the time when I really don't need it's full functionality. Figure this way I can artificially extend the lifespan of my aging laptop, too. Mostly, though, I'm just looking for a new toy...

) . I have the wi-fi only version and not the 3g version... I wasn't so concerned about having access in a non-wifi area... the ipad is used for browsing on my couch, and as a storage back-up when I'm travelling and need a place to download my photos from the day (or as backup in case a card goes bad)

So, are you happy with the acquisition? Do you wish you'd gotten the 3G? I might feel compelled to buy one while I'm in Seattle...

I don't feel the need....if I absolutely need to surf and I'm in a non-wifi area, I will use my phone. otherwise, I didn't want a data limited monthly charge for usage when in all reality, the majority of the time I use it will be at home (wifi), or if I'm out and about, I'll be using it primarily as a backup storage device. I have the 64g one so I feel pretty comfortable with the storage capacity as well.
