New prescription glasses and updated lenses for my current glasses. I love having good insurance and an HSA card. I didn't spend a dime out of my pocket!

I spent $563 on new glasses and updated my lenses in an old pair... and that was after discounts, credits, etc. But my work puts $1400 on my HSA card, so it was all free for me
Last year I dropped about the same as you on my sunglasses, so worth it! I love my glasses

Although at the time I had a health care spending account I didn't really love it (mainly because it was considered taxable income), I now wish I had it or the flexibility of something similar.
Although I don't love having spent all that $$$ on my sunglasses, they have all the bells and whistles, they're good quality and I also really like them, so...
That's too bad that it's considered taxable income! From what I understand, it's not taxable here in Oregon
I'm also lucky that I was able to apply $100 worth of gift cards from my optometrist (on top of my regular work discounts) because I refer SO many people to them!
I REALLY love my eye doctor and the glasses that they carry
