LAX-SEA-LAX .... again.

A new gas grill .... for my dad.

A replacement horse head .... for my head.

A "neon blue" captain's hat .... for some odd reason.
And lucky for me, half of these things were stolen from my house while I was at work.
I know it's less convenient, but do they offer an alternative pick up point? I know here amazon gives you the option of picking stuff up at your nearest postal outlet.

I have everything mailed to work...but that's also because Canada Post doesn't deliver to where I live.

So lil mommouth 4 ya Joe > just close your eyes if you chose

C-6 used to use a Weber then of course we upped to the Gas Grill well then they would CRAP out after awhile & he'd go buy a new one.

He one day got sick of having to buy a new one so he decided to up the anTy & get a super Pro type one…. he ended up with a Verity Crown Brand ( top a the line replaceable parts, stainless steel etc… ) the thing is STILL in the back side yard to this day

BUTT < pig butt heehee he started getting way to into trying other types of cooking like that
Spoiler

He wanted to try stuff like Ribs , Pulled pork , Brisket etc… Low & Slow type you see on the Food Channel.
So he buys a Green Egg

from there he moves to the Traeger which is the black metal type you see ( there are knock offs though beware ) that have a lil Chimney where the smoke exits.

They both are also out back & get used OFTEN!

The house has an island out there with a built in Lion brand which is a good one too & you kinda have to go with the brand the Island builder uses he likes it fine though.

so to end this WAY OVER long story grills can be like drugs to some

you start out on the Rite Aid Hibachi & from there you keep needing more

So true, G. The small gas grill we used to have had to go. It was always too small and it got totally messed up a few years ago when we had a ton of snow and it got all bent up and damaged when we shoveled the roof.

Now we have a much bigger grill with a side burner that we can use to heat water in the event of a power failure (my house is electric).

Anyway, a smoker lke you're talking about would be a lot of fun. I could see myself getting into that down the road. as it is, the only time I ever cook is when I grill. Steaks, chicken skewers, burgers, dogs... The usual. A nice grill might convince me to try corn in the cob and other great things with vegetables that folks have suggested to me over the years.

You had to shovel snow off the roof man I do NOT miss that stuff but your area is SO GORGEOUS I see why you don't mind it

WOW so no gas lines into houses the side burner is helpful then…. you don't need a fancy one to do corn on the grill my middle loves doing that

I told C-6 of this long story evolution & he said I should show ya one of the 1st books he got into on it. I'll find it soon.
The Smoking stuff Low & Slow is yeah a lil bit of a learning process butt the more he did it the more he learned.
He makes his own rubs too now but won't ever go the step of us driving a Low & Slow Food truck round the states to races etc…

Good stuff, G. Yeah, well, once in a while, the snow gets a little oppresive. Not very often, though.

Another Guild guitar. This time an electric, S-100.
