Whoops! Sorry Puddings!!
What a sweet pea! It makes me so happy that you got an "older" dog
Mature dogs are the best!!
How's she settling in?[/quote]
She's been settling in really well. The rescue said she was a puppy mill dog, so she's never been trained, and still needs potty training.
But other than that, she's been super well-behaved. She's super quiet, and barked only once so far - when I startled her from her peaceful slumber yesterday morning. We've bonded surprisingly well, in fact, she's super attached to me right now, and seems to get sad when I'm away (even if I'm just in the next room - I'm confining her to tiled floors right now, so she doesn't get to go into my bedroom). This was just after a day with me, I think I'm so lucky to have her.
A couple of people on the streets have expressed surprise that I managed to find a Yorkie at a rescue. I guess they are hard to come by.

I paid for next day delivery and mailed in a security deposit and pet fee to Phoenix, AZ...

I can't even find an apartment I like (that isn't $2500/month) in my own zip code.
$950 for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, two car garage and a YUGE backyard!
Super excited!!!
