I've tried a couple, they don't help much.

My big issue is the light changes. I can sleep if there's light, but not when it's dark and lets get flicked on and off.

That makes sense. I make it a point to take the window seat and walk in with the headphones on. Eliminates the need to chat with the person next to me. From there, it's lights out. I only have one leg of my flight ihave to deal with that and usually it's the short ORD-CLE flight

They did on my United flight from SFO to JFK.
