I have officially bought/leased a 2022 Subaru WRX - Sport with Eyesight and SPT transmission. Buying a car these days is so weird, the car has been ordered, but there is no VIN number and it has not been produced. They really don't know when it will be produced but will advise me of when that happens, then it ships here from Japan. Maybe 4 months down the road ? I dislike waiting for cars to arrive once I sign the dotted line in good times, so this is even worse for me.
The time frame for me was I ordered it in April and it was built in May and I took delivery in June.

I signed the documents today but the car was ordered by the dealer a number of weeks ago as a dealer stock vehicle , so I took it. If I ordered one today it would take much longer to get in queue, the colour was acceptable if not my favourite choice.

Ah very nice, it is a nice silver colour, My 2019 is world rally blue, that is my favourite colour, I will like the silver too. For some reason I like the white, but I have never owned a white car and my wife doesn't like white.

I caved and ordered it from Amazon. Just went to track the order and it’s been cancelled for some unknown reason. This is when living in the North and needing something by a particular date is challenging.
