Our youngest (she just turned 16) kinda wants it, but I'm not sure it's a wise move since it's lacking all the safety stuffs of newer cars. We shall see though, never say never and all that.

I don't mind the unsafeness of a car since I'm OLD and have had a GREAT life so far if I should go in it at least I was doing something I LOVE

 

Me driving it doesn't bother me at all, I tend to think of myself of a very aware driver. I'd get a speedster like yours in a heartbeat if they were available a bit more locally.

I'm sure I'll let her drive the VW at some point, just not as a new driver just yet. Plus teaching her how to drive a stick would be far easier in the VW than the Honda, less painful too
