I just bought. . . return policy edition
fluids for the Subaru BRZ - differential fluid (Redline), transmission fluid (Redline), engine oil stash once break-in is done (Amsoil 5w20). I did an early dump of the differential fluid, and transmission fluid swap. Engine oil will be dumped after break-in is done (1,500 miles approx.)

Hey Rob, yeah I installed some TRD optional brake pads on the car , so I took it out to bed them in. I also took it out to fill up the tank with 93 octane as I found one Shell station in my town. And I just took it out two days ago to test out the new transmission fluid. Maybe 50 kms in total since I brought it home. I have only taken it out on dry sunny days when the roads were completely dry and bare, no rain or snow. The tires are pretty sticky so I can hear the salt and sand being kicked up. The underside of the BRZ has big removable panels , it is almost perfectly flat and protected under there so it doesn't get too dirty, one panel is metal under the engine, the second panel is that furry plastic stuff that goes down 2/3rds of the way to the back. I have reduced insurance on it for winter storage so I can't go out too much, when it is back on the road I will only drive it on weekends and in dry nice weather.
I filled my son's car this morning - $1.16 per litre. , plus my 3 cent Petro Canada discount for 87 octane. I got 93 octane yesterday for $1.55 and my 3 cent discount off that at Shell.
