I wasn’t aware that Canadians aren’t allowed to own guns. I always felt the best defense was knowing how to fight/defend yourself with your hands and body as it’s always with you, problem with weapons are you need time to get to them and your opponent can end up with them and use them against you.

We are allowed to own long guns for hunting purposes, it is a bit of a process, and I don't hunt. I would want a hand gun though, and they are very restricted. I don't know of any gun stores in my region, I know one guy who opened a store and he went out of business quickly.

I have heard that comment you stated from some Americans who chose to not own guns, I can understand that.

I carry a man-purse with me at all times, I will keep these tools close to me most of the time within easy access.

I replaced my old air compressor with a new upright version that is oilless. This one will be easier to use compared to my old one and it takes up less space.

I used to have a job that was dangerous and on three occasions I had people try to rob me but never with a gun. It’s obviously a personal decision and everyone is different but to me I don’t know as I could pull the trigger if I had to but I’m definitely not against gun ownership. You really never know what you are capable of doing until you are put into a situation where it’s fight or flight.

I met up with Jordanksartell one year in TN while we were on a family road trip. We arranged to meet up for dinner at a local BBQ restaurant, and Jordan had a license to carry. They carry their guns on their hip for everyone to see, I somehow think that keeps people from coming at you unexpectedly, acts as a deterrent. I thought it was cool for him to have it, we were totally surprised by hit, never even seeing guns in our lives. lol.

A baseball cap with the logo of one of my favourite Italian singers/ musicians - Zucchero , should be fun to wear it. I was disappointed he wasn't playing at the Olympic opening ceremonies, so I got a hat , lol.

When it comes to our vacation , I always buy a fresh pair of shoes to wear on vacation. I picked up a pair of Skechers , will use them for our holidays and not wear them until then.

I got a VW Taos the other day for a daily driver work vehicle, but the shoes were today's purchase.
