I just bought. . . return policy edition
two pairs of skechers shoes, I went with some bulky style shoes for late fall and early winter use, that are waterproof (to a certain extent), they are more clunky than say a running shoe but much less clunky than winter boot. I want to try them as winter shoes this year rather than wearing big winter boots. We don't get a lot of snow here but more slushy and wet snowy mixes in winter. The shoes have chunky goodyear treads on them, I am hoping they are good for winter grip if they can stay soft in cold temps. I often find my winter boot treads get rock hard in cold temps and can be slippery as shit in slushy conditions, I am hoping the chunky style good year treads will offer better grip, at least I hope.

I just bought a new pair about a week ago (the old ones wear about a year old - which was about 3K miles on them so they lasted pretty damn good) and am extremely happy with them. They are the slip on type, not lace up.
One thing I have learned is to not use your feet to use them to take the shoes off ( meaning don’t use 1 foot to remove the shoe by the heel) but to use your hands and slide them off.
I paid $65 or so for them and I think that’s good money spent.
I wear Skechers every day at work and I walk 7-12 miles a day. I don’t have to worry about snow as I live in Central Florida but we do get a good amount of rain. Mine are pretty much waterproof and the soles are non-slip.
