I am jealous lol. We only have two furniture stores in the area so I looked online. Found the perfect one but they won’t ship here, only to the closest brick and mortar store…6 hours away.

So I haven’t bought a couch…yet. But I did buy dog food.

Replacing a roof in Florida in the summer has to be a miserable job.

We got a much better shingle that is rated for 177+ mph winds,. I switched to open metal valleys (the existing roof was a stupid closed-valley design) , and we added quite a bit of extra roof vents to aid in cooling. Lots of ice and water shield needed for our region's winter conditions. We went with a lighter coloured shingle to help with cooling too. Should be interesting as hot weather is coming our way, extra venting and the colour of the shingle are important factors many people over-look when doing roof jobs.
