Both!! Since I bought life insurance through my employer and I left my employment, I need to get a new policy

does it not transfer?
"HR" aka the owner's daughter told me that it ends when my employment ends

...A bathing suit...Reluctantly.
That is not fun, at all! I am really happy with the suit that I settled on, the brand is Badgley Mischka if you want to check them out. They're way cheaper on Amazon and 6pm.com
Not options in Canuckistan. I mean, we do have Amazon, but it's still nothing like the US one.

That's generally how it works in Canada. It's considered a benefit that's part of your employment, so like you said, when your employment ends so do all your benefits. You could probably pay to stay with the same company, but it would make sense to shop around too especially if you're not going to get benefits right away/at all.

This is true, When I transferred out of the Canada office, I retained my benefit package because it was super cheap and covered a lot of small things here and there that combined with my package here makes for an unbeatable deal

Car rental. Not sure whether to use my air miles or just pay for it outright and save the miles...

Still shopping for a better deal on a car rental. I've got a reservation but I keep checking to see if the price will drop.
