Yeah I love all Deep Purple from the early stuff to the last albums, with every singer they had. I followed Coverdale onto Whitesnake , they were all so unique. Ronnie James Dio was very cool too and I really liked the band Rainbow at the same time. I love how Ronnie introduced the Malocchio (evil eye hand signal) to heavy metal, putting an Italian spin on things

 

LOL I never made the correlation that was the evil eye hand signal, Dio was a true powerhouse. Always liked the song Heaven and Hell.

 

yes he started that symbol in the heavy metal world, I once seen a video of him describing it to a reporter during an interview, he called it the " maloich" , lol. It took off from there. He said it was a dedication to his Italian grandmother, many called it the metal horns.
