i'm not sure if i'm ready to drive a rear engined car yet, but mid engine sounds interesting. the base cayman is rated for 32mpg on the highway, i drive a lot so that makes a difference, and there's side and head airbags too. i kinda like the idea of a 2 seater because when i carpool with my boss we can shoot across the bay bridge in the hov lane bypassing the maze and the metering lights and it's free bridge toll so that's like 8 bux saved between the two of us. plus with a 2 seater i hardly have to give rides or carry cargo. only the gt3 is technically a 2 seater, and with that low front lip i think the bumps on 101 would eat me alive
