When my warranty becomes void.....I switch my odometer to miles instead of kms when I go to the dealership....b/c I highly doubt they'd notice....

So simple its brilliant!

This is like when we did the Hot Import Nights car show in Philly. You werent allowed to have your car with more than a quarter to an eighth of gas....so what we do...we put tiny pieces of black electrical tape on the single bars of the fuel guage.

 

don't know if you guys can make that out...but definitely worth a try!

I've actually got a piece of electrical tape over the check engine light in my Contour. It's so subtle that I forget it's there!!

If you get a decent tech though, they will probably notice. They are supposed to record it when you drop your car off.

 

Yeah they are...but it's the service advisor that takes it down....not the tech, and 80% of the time they just ask me while I'm still in the driver's seat....

I can always play dumb blonde if they figure it out right?
