Let us know if you find one, Wick. Real Media is one of the most annoying piece of commercial software ever written.

They are even worse than the AOL stuff (AIM, ICQ etc).

Search for "real alternative"

Not sure how well it works. There's also a quicktime alternative. I'd recommend BSPlayer as your frontend.

Be careful of downloading the codec packs from that site; many of the packs have included non-freeware codecs that can screw up video playback. Individual codecs should be all good though.
