I mean, I'm not surprised that prices have gone up, but $6 to $8 is pretty hefty.

In Arlington, there is one Exxon that always does "high test for the price of mid grade" every Thursday and Sunday. So whichever car I'm driving I always fill up on those days. This past SUnday I paid $2.28 for 93 Octane...which is okay I guess. This week that's the price of regular 87!

J....what kind of mileage are you getting nowadays? Even in the Lude I can't break 20 mpg unless I am driving all highway.....which I practically never do.

The problem for me is that...if I try to do the highway thing? It ends up taking in and around 30 minutes longer to get to VA....and generally speaking I am driving slower than I typically do on the back roads

It was funny, I was gone for the weekend and my rommate called me to let me know that DC Photo Enforcement had sent me something (which I already knew about...was in Lola at the time). When I opened it I was greeted by what I still regard as a really cool time-lapse series of pics (like four) of me whizzing by at night....followed by a blowup of my plate (LEDDED). I got off with a warning....which is good...considering I was clocked at 45 in a 25...($100)...... I like the pics so much I put it on the fridge
