You have just reminded me of my wedding day there Peter ....

when my father-in-law was giving his speach, since he has a very broad Glaswegian accent, myself and the best-man unravelled a banner behing him saying :

"Subtitles available on Ceefax Page 166"

(this is a system that is used on UK TV) He was wondering why the guests were all laughing before he had really started with the jokes in his speach !!!!!!
