im curious about alcohol
My experience with drinking over the last 15 years or so is that, like has been mentioned before, it enhances your personality. Watch a jackass get drunk and he doesn't become a great guy...he becomes a bigger jackass. Same goes for a funny person...they tend to get louder and more comical.
Another aspect is that drinking lowers inhibitions...so if there is some element of your personality that is typically suppressed it becomes less suppressed. In other words, if you are typically shy but a part of you has always wanted to be more outgoing you might tend to explore that side of your personality when drunk because you are not hindered by the usual constraints...

Uhh, I think I would have to classify myself as the "emotional" drunk, because I tend to say the first thing that comes out of my mouth (aka The Truth), that is subject to cause some problems
I don't drink very much though..

lol i dont remember typing that

I'm shy when I'm sober usually, but I tend to get a lot more outgoing and happy when I'm drunk. I don't really like myself when I'm stoned, for example this weekend. I took a 5 footer and, while enjoyed the sensation (I was sitting down, my back got all warm and tingly), looking back at some of the things I said make me feel like an ass
