You should try to visit. The French are really great people, and I have enjoyed my time here.

My visit has been limited to Nantes (4 hours South of Paris), however over the weekend I visited the NW coast and a few castles in the centeral part of the country.

I do intend to visit. I have a great many friends there but sadly have never visited. I sent one of my employees (who is French) to Toulouse... he brought me back some foie gras that was UNBELIEVABLE!! I have to recommend you try it. Much better than FG I can get here.

 

Truffles and escargot (preferably already dead) are good, too.
