For two nights. I started a big exploratory excavation remediation job in Corona on Friday, with a long reach excavator, a mobile lab, a front end loader, and a backhoe. I have to move out about 10,000 cvubic yards of soil, about 15,000 tons, excavating through 100 years of rock quarry tailings from the mine next door, with some boulders as big as small cars. I'm picking it tomorrow at 7 AM. moving to another exploratory excavation remediation job in Escondido (home of our fearless leader, cthree) on Tuesday, then back to Corona on Wednesday. So I'm staying in a hotel in Corona for two nights. This will save me hundrads of miles of driving at Godawful hours. I'm swapping my S with Mrs. Raptor for her Acura MDX because you need a four wheel drive vehicle to get to the job site in Corona.
