I just got one and loooove it. Super light, battery lasts long enough and is compatible with my weed whacker

What brand?

It seems like I'm not just shopping for a lawn mower, but also an ecosystem of power tools. Ego, Greenworks, Makita, etc. I already have some Makita tools/batteries (which I really like) but not keen on needing 4 batteries for the lawn mower.

I remember when I lived in Fort Fun, watching a neighbor mow their 1/3 acre lawn with a corded mower... I laughed while I fired up my obnoxiously loud gas burner and powered thru our lawn in 1/2 the time.

The battery units seem to have really come a long way.

BB when we got rid of the OLD leaf Blower I wanted to try the EGO,
I LOVE IT and like CBabe's what ever brand she has the battery is the same on the EGO Weed Wacker we got so I always have a back up basically! The leaf blower is very strong too way better than the one we had before.

just moms 2 pennies

My dad bought a bunch of cored electric landscaping tools and he ended up replacing the lawnmower and weed whacker with gas powered ones. He kept the electric leaf blower and chainsaw but I shake my head at the electric chainsaw.
