I bet you will miss her !. My wife had to go away for a few days once and I thought it was going to be a great time to be alone. I couldn't wait for her to return though, much to my surprise. lol

The house better be immaculate when she gets back -- she's gonna check! All the trash better be out, the dishwasher empty, and the bed(s) made.

All that for me, plus I had to feed the cat at exact times and clean the litter , maybe that's why I wanted my wife to get back home quicker, lol

 

Yeah, yeah, no problem.

 

Yeah, Molly and Flojo get fed twice a day. I have a crib sheet for wet and dry food, microwave, and add a little water, Anne Marie pre makes the wet food in Ttupperware containers in the refrigerator. Dog pee pads and clean water get changed out regularly. They sleep in bed with me.

 

My wife will go spend a week with her mom sometimes (her mom is getting up there and needs more help these days) and while we always joke about "Freedom!!!" in reality I am like "What the hell do I do with myself now?". Me and her are literally best friends after being together for 26 years. We hang out, we do almost everything together, etc. You forget how much you are intertwined with someone until they take a trip lol. I do end up getting more projects off the list when she is not here though, so there is that!

 

I live alone and am often rudderless.
