Cheers Arvin ...... we were going to head for Mount Fuji, but the traffic out of Tokyo was terrible so we had to turn back !!!

 

I guess that really sucks, and thats why you are posting right now? why all the suddenly everyone want to leave Tokyo? is that happen in every weekend?

I think it is pretty common .....

there are about 10 main highways that lead out of Tokyo in different directions and they are all usually busy heading away from Tokyo early in the day and busy heading into Tokyo later in the day .....

We are heading to the coast in a couple of weeks for a long weekend and have already agreed that we will be heading off at 5:30 am to beat the traffic and get some fast miles in before the roads get busy .....
