It's not even December yet, and already I'm tired of Christmas music.

What about that tannenbaum/christmas tree song? I don't know the words ... but I sing it to my cat.

Except it's "Oh Chocopaws, Oh Chocopaws, with little cute ears and feet~" instead of "Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree..." (and I don't know the rest of the words to that song)
"O Tannenbaum O Tannenbaum wie treu sind deine Blaetter"

Oh yeah, that's all I need; all of my German relatives to run around in their knit wear and Lederhosen, drunk on Jaegertee, singing that toe-tapper. . .

For the first time ever, I heard Christmas music the day before Halloween.

This is a whole 'nuther rant that isn't easing my pain.

We should either just starting boozing it up around Diwali, and keep going through to MLK day. . . or we should just have nice, dignified, short celebrations.

Instead, we just start the pain before October 31st; you know, I can't wear my Dia De Los Muertos lights and my Christmas lights at the same time. . . there's not enough room!
