its faster for file transfer, but for surfing its only as fast as your internet wants to be at any given moment

PS - I haven't checked to see if the laptop is passing 11 mbps yet (which is the speed for B ) but it *seems* as fast as my other two machines which are wired in ..... so go figure.....

Not sure that I would know how to set up a wireless connection though ......... we don't even have a wireless in the house anymore, the only one we have is in the car .....
