alex - it's a b18c 330 whp all motor, feel free to bow
chazmo - i have it back, its running well, it feels good, but I think it needs some tuning. Midrange is fatter, under 3k is a tad weaker
VTEC feels very strong, but I'm not sure about top end, it's either the same or less... hard to tell..... If you are referring to my ce28 wheels, the answer is no, I still don't have them on..... still gotta pick up the rears from docofmind.....

So, sounds like your car has had an interesting couple of weeks, Wick... You sure the "weaker" feeling isn't just because your top end is stronger? Sometimes the "butt dyno" gets hemorrhoids, y'know.

What'd the shop do to the engine, Wick (forgive me if you already mentioned it, but you know how my attn. span is!)

are you sure it's a 9.9sec 1/4mi civic? because 330 fwhp isn't all that much. IMO, not enough for a <10sec car

as for the engine being weaker under 3krpm - that's only to be expected. these hot cams were designed for track use more than anything else, so priority was power/torque higher in the powerband, and flatter power/torque curves (both of which are good for racing), not in the lower rpm range (which is good for low-speed real-world driving.
